Current Food Pantry Services
Our food pantry is, once again, open for client shopping inside during regular hours. To address safety concerns and encourage social distancing, we have expanded our hours. If you prefer to stay in your vehicle, call us at (515) 987-5523 and a volunteer will prepare a pre-packaged supply of food based on family size and deliver it to your vehicle. Please have your door or trunk open for the volunteer to safely load your food.
Food pantry services are available to all Dallas County residents in need of assistance.
Please follow the guidelines below to ensure we can meet your needs:
- Clients must live in Dallas County or Waukee School district
- Bring identification for each member of the household
- Bring proof of residency (utility bill or rental lease agreement)
Monthly Food Pantry
Registered clients can visit once a month to receive a week’s supply of groceries and other household essentials. Typical items include meat, milk, eggs and other pantry staples as well as personal hygiene products (based upon availability).
Anyone can visit our Anytime Food Room one time per day, any day we are open. Anytime Food is our rescued food from local food establishments. Clients must bring their own bags.
