Annual Fundraiser

Almost 75% of our funding comes directly from individuals and organizations in our community.  The remainder is acquired through grants and our partner churches.  We are not a government-funded entity.  By participating in this fundraiser, you help determine our financial roadmap for the coming year.  Our goal is $100,000.

Your involvement is essential.  We’ll contact you frequently during the month of April.  Quickly meeting our fundraising goal means you’ll hear less from us.

You’re our best advocate.  When people don’t need our services, they often don’t even know we exist.  By setting up your own online fundraiser for our organization, your people will mobilize support for a cause you believe in because they trust you.  Please help us get the word out on what we do and how one third of Central Iowans are struggling (Souce: United Way Central Iowa).  

Selling a raffle ticket is an easy way to introduce us to someone in your circle.  By purchasing a $20 raffle ticket, you will provide fresh produce for four families and potentially win a $2,000 Target gift card for yourself.

Winner will be drawn on Thursday, April 25th during our Fundraiser After-Party at Palms Theatres from 5:00-7:00pm. You do not need to be present to win. All ticket purchases are considered a donation to us. Purchase a ticket online or stop by to purchase printed tickets.  Must be 18 years old to participate in the raffle.
