Gathering For A Worthy Cause

Join us for the 2020 Waukee Area Christian Services Gala Fundraiser as we seek to create meaningful connections between you, WACS and the community we all serve. The Gala event includes a social hour, silent auction, plated gourmet dinner, entertainment, and a short program. All proceeds go to support our efforts of expanding WACS’ community reach with the food pantry, health clinic, community garden, and advocacy services.  

The Gala event is business/informal attire.

Gala Specifics:

Event Date:  Friday, April 17, 2020

Location: St. Boniface Catholic Church

Social and Silent Auction:  6 p.m. 7 p.m.

Dinner and Program:  7 p.m.

Ticket: $100/person

Gala Sponsorship

We invite you to become a sponsor of the WACS 2020 Gala. Your sponsorship benefits families that are less fortunate in Dallas county.

Our mission is to provide compassionate, practical care to greater Des Moines’ west side, offering food and medical assistance to those struggling to make ends meet. Your support will ensure these initiatives make a lasting impact in our client’s lives.   

Be sure to register as a sponsor by September 7, 2020 to be included on signage and in the event program.

Gala Online Auction:

As part of our 2021 Virtual Fundraising Gala, we’re offering a select group of “Give Where You Live” getaway auction items for your private bidding.

You’ll have five days to win your desired escape and our clients will receive the hand-up they desperately need right now.

Bidding starts at 7:00 a.m. on Monday, April 26th and will close at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, April 30th. Good luck!

How to Bid in Our Online Auction

The process is quick, with very little information required:  

(1) Name, (2) Email address and (3) Password creation

To Begin Bidding 

You will need to create an account to begin bidding.  

Click on the item in which you are interested and place your bid.

Email Notifications

You will automatically receive these notifications via email during the length of the online auction:

  • Bid confirmations
  • Outbid Notifications
  • Watchlist Notifications
  • Auction Ending Notifications
  • Winning Bidder Notifications

Payment for the Item You Won

You will make your payment for your online auction item directly to Waukee Area Christian Services (not through 32Auctions). We will notify you of the amount due and you can pay us by check or credit card. After payment is received, arrangements will be made for you to pick up your item(s).
